Lux foi Selecionado para o Short Film Corner em CANNES

Depois da apresentação “interna” no festival, na sala Manoel de Oliveira do Cinema S. Jorge em Lisboa, o LUX partiu em viagem. Esteve presente no World of Film: International Festival Glasgow, de seguida voltou a casa para o Lisbon & Estoril Film Festival, de onde seguiu para o Certamen de Cortometrajes Visualia 2015, em Espanha, para o europeu Cilect Prize, para o Frames Film Festival, na Índia, e depois para o Festival Mauvais Genre em França.

These were questions John Vassos asked when the Radio Corporation of America (RCA) asked him to design the first mass-produced television receiver, the TRK-12, which had its spectacular premier at the 1939 New York World’s Fair. Vassos emigrated from Greece and arrived in the United States in 1898.

As the Academy Awards inch closer and closer, the discussion about diversity in Hollywood continues to rage on. One of the highest-trending topics on Twitter, #OscarsSoWhite is a reaction to the announcement of Oscar nominees and in particular the fact that no people of color are represented in the top four categories and far too few are nominated in others. On the heels of the blockbuster success of films like 12 Years a Slave and Straight Outta Compton, the notion of films featuring Black casts both behind
